100% Beulah Speckled Face
4ply/fingering Yarn
The first ever batch of exclusive fully traceable, local yarn made from the sheep that graze the fields surrounding my studio. This flock is very close to my heart & I treasure the time I spend with them, especially at lambing time.
Hence the name of the collection ‘Trysori’ the Welsh word for treasure, as in cherish.
Spun at a family owned mill less than 40 miles away & dyed at my studio using natural, plant extracts, 100% Welsh wool, as local as it gets.
A soft woollen spun yarn with character & charm.
This yarn has a little ‘bite’ without being too ‘rustic’ and would be good for colour work and steeking as well as your regular projects.
