Dales 50:50 - 4ply Charcoal
A British wool yarn with drape, a little lustre, halo & has a lovely marled look due to the 50:50 blend of BFL and fine Masham.
Undyed yarn to compliment the Dales collection
You can use this lovely drapey yarn for the Rachel Shawl as an alternative to the Single Farm BFL
Rachel Shawl
The Rachel Shawl is a large crescent shawl designed by Joanna Herriott in collaboration with ’Twinset and Purl’. She is knitted in our Single Farm BFL, sample is the ‘Camellia’ colour way.
The yarn is plant dyed which adds subtle variations to the skeins.
The shawl is created by knitting from tip to tip so you never have too many stitches on your needle. The main body of the shawl is a variation on a garter rib pattern while the lace for the border has been chosen because it looks like a string of hearts.

This is a natural product, dyed by hand.
Every effort is made to remove any plant material which may still be present after the dye process, a small amount may still remain.
Please allow for a small amount of colour residue with the first wash which does not effect the overall colour fastness.
Colours are depicted as accurately as possible in photographs, but please note every computer monitor is different.
Each dye batch is unique and colours will be of a similar likeness to image.
