Virtual Yorkshire Yarn Fest

29th April 2023

Being part of a ‘virtual’ yarn event was unheard of for me until 2020 when, all at once, we had to get creative and find new ways to interact with each other. A fellow hand dyer (Sophie Lee) organised an online event which was held on ‘Instagram’ where indie yarn businesses each had 15 minutes to present their wares live to the online community.

The virtual ‘Yorkshire Yarn Fest’ was born.

3 years on and the event is still going strong and I’m so happy to have been part of Aprils show.

It’s such a great way for us to come together, to connect, to chat & to show you what I’ve been up to in the studio and talk about yarns but if social media isn’t for you then I’ve posted my video presentation (warts & all!) here so you can share in the fun.

Thank you for your support, it’s always very much appreciated.
