The Good Life Experience

Makers Row at TGLE.jpeg

I ran 2 types of workshops this year featuring wool, wool and more wool…of course, what else!

Knit yourself a chunky infinity scarf workshop using my own hand spun chunky yarn and 25mm knitting needles made by hand by ‘Tegan Woodwork’ (my hubby)

A bit ironic that we were knitting up winter scarves in the sunshine., but a lot of fun was had by all.

This is a good workshop for beginners as the yarn and needles create large stitches that are easy to see, thus making the whole experience much less stressful than learning to knit with tiny pins.

It’s great seeing everyones smiles when they see what they can achieve in such a short space of time.

TGLE 2019 was magical….

This is such an amazing event to attend and I really love being part of it each year.

A small, intimate festival, where you really do meet friends.

Music, food, crafts, singing, camp fires, a vintage fairground, dog show and so much more…it really is all here and set in the grounds of not 1 but 2, yep…2 castles!

The image here shows my home for the 4 day event where I ran wool workshops along side other artisans in this fabulous old army mess tent.
