I am really excited to share with you the launch of my new collection of Plant dyed British wool yarns at Wonderwool Wales, Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Powys.

Hand dyed at my garden studio on a mountain in Wales, the collection showcases 5 yarn bases, including a Welsh wool base and are available in 4PLY, DK and Aran weights.

Each skein has been dyed using plants…

…gathered from the garden or hedgerow or by using natural botanicals

During the dyeing process I am mindful of how much water and energy is used to create these subtle natural colours; our mountain spring can run very slow in the summer time, its how I decide which days are good for dyeing…

I have created

…a small palette inspired by the landscape of the Welsh mountain I live on and in and these are now available to purchase online and at various venues throughout the year.
